Bill Viola's works are situated in St Paul's Cathedral, London. All visitors to the cathedral are able to view the installations, based on the usual cathedral admission prices. 


Location within the cathedral

Martyrs is located behind the High Altar of the cathedral in the south quire aisle next to the American Memorial Chapel and the Commonwealth Memorial. Mary is located in the north quire aisle close to the Henry Moore sculpture of the Virgin and child. Both areas have been designated for contemplation and meditation.

Monday – Saturday: 08:30 – 16:00 (last admission)
Sunday: No viewing

Art Fund and Tate members will receive 50% off tickets to enter the cathedral.

Free short viewings

Monday through Friday, short escorted visits to the installation will take place at 11:30 and 14:15 for those not visiting as regular sightseers. Please arrive at the main west entrance for these.
